About Geena

My name is Geena and I am the founder of Prana Movement. I am thrilled to be sharing my passion for personal development with you. Let me tell you how we got here..My fitness journey really began after I finished my career as a professional dancer in 2018. When dance was out of my life I began practicing yoga as a way to supplement my body’s need for movement. I received my 200 hour YTT in 2019 and have been teaching ever since! Beyond yoga, I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I saw a disconnect between the world of yoga + strength training. Both I believe, are essential for rounded living and help to prevent injury throughout day to day as we age. I believe movement is medicine in any capacity but especially through resistance training and mobility.
